About Us

At Stanways Autobodies, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier vehicle repair services and outstanding customer care. Our workshop is a fast-paced environment where quality and efficiency matter. We are currently looking for a highly organized and friendly Office Administrator to be the first point of contact for our customers and keep our front office running smoothly.

The Role

As our Office Administrator, you will be the glue that holds our operations together. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks, communicating with customers and insurance companies, and supporting our workshop team.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting customers as they arrive and providing excellent customer service.
Answering telephone calls and responding to customer and supplier emails.
Booking in vehicles for repair and scheduling estimates.
Liaising with insurance companies and work providers regarding claim updates.
Creating invoices, processing payments, and basic data entry.
Ordering office supplies and assisting with parts ordering when necessary.
General office duties, including filing, scanning, and keeping the reception area tidy.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is essential. (Experience in the automotive or collision repair industry is a huge bonus, but not required!)
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite, professional phone manner.
Tech-Savvy: Confident using computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email. Ability to learn our garage management software quickly.
Organization: Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay calm and organized in a busy environment.
Team Player: A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help out wherever needed.
