Location Mere Park Garden Centre, Newport Shropshire

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft exceptional coffee, serve our valued customers, and support various operational tasks within a lively café environment. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and other drinks with precision and care
Provide friendly, efficient customer service to create a positive experience for all guests
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and cleanliness guidelines
Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and give correct change
Keep the workspace tidy, organized, and stocked with supplies throughout your shift
Support team members during busy periods by taking on additional tasks such as serving or cleaning

Experience

Previous barista experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure safe handling of beverages and food items
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions efficiently
Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality service
