What will I be doing?

· To deliver exceptional customer experiences whilst driving optimal up – sell and on‐ sell performance

· Deal promptly with incoming enquires, guest requests, queries and bookings by phone, fax, email or OTA extranets.

· Ensure all guests are checked in and out correctly on our systems, focusing on guest satisfaction.

· Build relationships and rapport with all guests.

· Review and maintain required records on regular guests, guest problems and their resolution.

· Be proactive in ensuring all guests are welcomed and departed in a timely and appropriate manner. Make it memorable

· Act as a Food and Beverage Assistant or Reservation Agent when needed

· Be aware of all products that are on sale in all departments (Current menus, Wine list and drink selection, Hotel and company promotions) and take reservations accordingly.

· Demonstrate an awareness of customer priorities, anticipate needs and build rapport. Optimise customer spend through promotional awareness and suggestive selling techniques – prioritise activity /interactions as appropriate.

What are we looking for?

A Guest Service Assistant serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Positive attitude and good communication skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, you may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the department.
Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative

- The suitable candidate will need to flexible for availability across all shift types - Mornings, Evenings and potentially even Nights,

· Previous Experience with front office PMS systems & EPOS systems would be advantageous.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

· Be a positive influence on your team, reflecting that positivity onto all of our guests and ensuring maximum guest experience satisfaction.

· Working to keep all Hilton Brand standards at the forefront of what we do.
