IMMEDIATE START

Immediate Start – Carer Position – Join Our Professional Team!
Location: Bury St. Edmunds, IP32 7FA
Salary: £14.30-21.45 per hour
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Bank, Contracted hours.
Expected Hours: 16-40 hours per week

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Carers to join our professional team, helping elderly individuals live independently in the comfort of their own homes. If you are looking for a rewarding career where you can make a real difference, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

As a Carer, you will be providing essential support to our elderly clients with the following duties:

Personal Care:
Assist with showering, dressing, and grooming
Help with mobility and personal hygiene needs
Support with medication reminders and administration as needed
Daily Living Support:
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the individual’s needs
Perform light housework duties, such as cleaning, tidying, and laundry
Assist with shopping and errands to maintain independence
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being
Health and Safety:
Ensure the client’s home is safe and free of hazards
Assist with mobility aids, ensuring safe movement within the home
Monitor the client's well-being and report any concerns to senior staff or family members
General Support:
Offer transport and accompany clients to appointments or activities when needed
Build a positive relationship with clients to foster trust and confidence
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed as required by CQC and Social Services

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
Ability to work a 5-day week rota, including every other weekend
Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy with a passion for helping others
English language skills to communicate clearly with clients and the team
Previous care experience is a plus but not essential; full training is provided
