MOT Tester

Falmouth, Cornwall

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm | No Weekends or Bank Holidays

Vantage Education Partners is recruiting on behalf of a busy, well-established independent garage in Falmouth. With an excellent reputation for quality workmanship, honest advice and outstanding customer service, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team in a thriving workshop.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester who takes pride in delivering high standards and enjoys working in a professional yet supportive environment.

Salary of £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours (8:30am - 5:00pm)

The Role

As an MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections safely, efficiently and in line with DVSA standards, helping to ensure every customer receives an excellent service.

Your duties will include:

Carrying out Class 4 MOT inspections (Class 7 experience is desirable but not essential)
Identifying and accurately recording any defects or advisories
Ensuring all testing is completed in accordance with current DVSA regulations
Liaising with the workshop team regarding any repairs required
Maintaining accurate MOT documentation and records
Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high professional standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A valid MOT Tester qualification
Experience carrying out Class 4 MOTs
Class 7 MOT testing experience (desirable but not essential)
Excellent attention to detail
A reliable and professional approach to your work
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
