Sales Representative – Flat Roofing

Location: Office-based with regular travel to customer appointments
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £40,000 basic + 2% commission on all personal sales
Benefits: Company car and fuel provided

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and professional Sales Representative to join our growing flat roofing business. This is a varied role that combines customer-facing sales with office-based estimating and lead management.

You'll be responsible for attending pre-arranged customer appointments, carrying out face-to-face product demonstrations, preparing quotations from architectural plans, and helping to generate new business opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, is confident presenting products, and wants to earn uncapped commission.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to customer appointments using a company vehicle.
Conduct professional face-to-face demonstrations and consultations.
Prepare accurate quotations from plans and drawings using office-based computer systems.
Manage and follow up sales enquiries through lead generation platforms.
Build strong relationships with customers from initial enquiry through to sale.
Promote the business and proactively generate new sales opportunities and appointments.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.
Work closely with the office team to ensure a smooth customer experience.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence dealing with customers face to face.
A strong work ethic and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
Good computer skills and confidence using office software.
The ability to read or learn to interpret building plans and drawings.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Previous sales experience is preferred, although full product training will be provided for the right candidate.

What We Offer

£40,000 basic salary.
2% commission on sales.

Fuel paid by the company.
Monday to Friday working hours (9:00am–5:00pm).
