Job Summary

Join our team as a Bank Passenger Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and smooth journey of children and elderly passengers traveling on our services. You will be the friendly face and helpful guide for passengers, assisting with boarding, alighting, and providing essential information throughout their journey. Your proactive approach and excellent customer service skills will help create a positive travel experience for all travelers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic transportation environment where safety and service excellence are paramount. Candidate will need to

Responsibilities

Greet passengers warmly and assist them with boarding and alighting from buses, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Monitor passenger behavior to ensure safety and comfort, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Support passengers with special needs or mobility challenges by offering appropriate assistance and liaising with staff when necessary
Manage time effectively to ensure punctual assistance during busy travel periods while adhering to operational schedules.
Candidate will have to have an enhanced DBS check, in which they will pay the cost of £61.50 up front if successful at interview.

Experience

Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated analysis skills to evaluate passenger needs and operational processes effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact clearly and courteously with diverse passenger groups.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
