We are seeking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants to support students with additional needs who are under the care of our SEND department. Initially, one of these positions is to support students attending our Sixth Form for their Post 16 education.

Salary: Grade C, SCP 5: £25,583 pro-rata

Actual salary for 31 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum: £17,922 *

*A national pay award is currently being negotiated with workers’ unions and is pending agreement. Therefore, the salary will be higher than published.

Location: Torquay Devon

Contract type: Permanent / 31 hours per week, term-time

have or be prepared to have an up to date knowledge of the new SEND code of practice.
