Full job description

Overview:
We are looking to recruit a House Manager for cleaning duties for our development at Livingstone Court on King Street in Aberdeen. Livingstone Court is a private housing development for over 55s capable of independent living.

This is a permanent part-time role working 20 hours per week (4 hours per day) Monday to Friday.

General Duties (but not limited to):

Cleaning and upkeep of all internal communal areas of the development including entrance foyer, lounges, kitchen, visitor toilets, laundry room, guest suites, hobbies room, bin rooms and lift.
Management of guest suites including bookings, laundry, changeovers and replenishments.
Providing information and introduction to facilities for new owners.
Daily walkround checks of building both internally and externally.
Engages with and oversees contractors when attending site.
Daily contact with BeneFactors Property Management and ensuring any issues raised are reported promptly to the Property Management Director.
Maintains strict confidentiality at all times.

Experience:

Proven experience in cleaning, either in a commercial or housekeeping role.
Helpful and courteous manner with a proactive and respectful attitude.
Attention to detail regarding the upkeep, safety and security of the building.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written (a high standard of English is required for this role).
Ability to use Outlook app on company-provided phone.
Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably in the housing sector, would be desirable.

This role does not involve providing care to residents or responding to telecare calls.

A valid basic Disclosure Scotland check will be required for this role.
