GR4: Administrative Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent position within the Council's Social Care Charging Team which is part of the Financial Management and Accounting Division.

Responsibilities include: maintaining the council’s financial databases, processing payments & raising invoices and assisting in day-to-day workloads & office routines (including mail, scanning & electronic filing).

Training will be provided in terms of system processes & procedures and completion of financial tasks. The roll will require a level of financial and ICT literacy.

Candidates would be expected to have good communications skills both written and verbal and have a keen willingness to learn. Knowledge of services provided by the Council’s Community & Children’s Services Group is desirable although not essential.
