Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and ambitious Business Development & Sales Coordinator to join our growing renewable energy business.

This is a varied, sales-driven office-based role where your primary objective will be to generate new business opportunities and help drive the continued growth of the company.

We are a renewable energy wholesaler and sales brokerage, supplying high-quality solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers and renewable energy products to both domestic and commercial customers across the UK. Rather than carrying out installations ourselves, we source and supply the products while connecting customers with our trusted network of approved installation partners, ensuring they receive a complete, professional solution from enquiry through to installation.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships and being rewarded for their success. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer an uncapped bonus and commission structure, allowing you to significantly increase your earnings based on your performance.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively generate new business through outbound telephone calls, social media, email campaigns and online enquiries.
Identify and develop new domestic, commercial and trade customers for our renewable energy products and services.
Build relationships with electricians, roofing contractors, builders, developers, architects, renewable energy installers and other trade professionals to grow our wholesale customer base.
Contact businesses and homeowners to introduce our products and services while identifying new sales opportunities.
Qualify customer enquiries and understand their renewable energy requirements.
Prepare accurate quotations for solar PV systems, battery storage, EV chargers and wholesale product sales.
Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion rates and secure new business.
Introduce customers to our trusted installation partners where appropriate, ensuring a smooth customer journey from initial enquiry through to project completion.
Develop long-term relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business, referrals and recommendations.
Keep our CRM system fully updated with customer information, quotations and follow-up activity.
Work closely with suppliers, installation partners and management to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Handle incoming telephone and email enquiries professionally.
Support the office with general administration, scheduling, order processing and invoicing where required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and enjoys building relationships.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in business development, telesales, sales, account management or customer service.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A proactive attitude with the confidence to generate new business.
A target-driven mindset and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Experience within the solar, electrical wholesale, construction or renewable energy sectors would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
