The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team and work with a diverse portfolio of SME clients. You will be a trusted point of contact, building real relationships and helping clients make sense of their numbers. It is a varied, hands-on role with genuine scope to develop as the firm grows.

What you will do

Prepare year end statutory accounts for review
Prepare personal tax computations and working papers for review
Prepare & review VAT returns
Provide clear, proactive client communication and engagement
Provide Xero support and training to clients
Assist with bookkeeping where required
Support general practice administration as needed

What you will bring

AAT, ACCA or ICAEW qualified or in training
At least one years' experience preparing year end accounts in practice
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage your own workload
Confident with cloud accounting software, ideally Xero, comfortable adopting new technology, and open to integrating AI tools into your workflow
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
