Full job description

Part-Time Bookkeeper – One Day per Week

Company: Feonix Aesthetics
Location: Coventry City Centre / Remote working arrangements
Hours: Approximately one day per week, with some flexibility
Salary: £15 per hour, depending on experience

Feonix Aesthetics is looking for an organised and reliable part-time bookkeeper to help us maintain accurate financial records and keep our accounts running smoothly.

This role would suit an experienced bookkeeper seeking a flexible, ongoing position for approximately one day per week. We currently use Xero accounting software, so confidence working with Xero is important.

Key responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in Xero
Recording and categorising income and expenditure
Reconciling bank accounts and payment platforms
Processing and organising invoices, bills and receipts
Monitoring outstanding payments
Preparing regular financial summaries for the business owner
Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns, where required
Liaising with our accountant when necessary
Identifying and correcting discrepancies in the accounts
Keeping financial information organised, accurate and confidential

About you:

Previous bookkeeping experience is essential
Confident using Xero accounting software
Experience with VAT returns is strongly preferred
Good knowledge of bookkeeping principles and bank reconciliation
Accurate, organised and comfortable working independently
Reliable, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
Clear and approachable communication style
Experience working with a small business would be beneficial
A bookkeeping or accounting qualification, such as AAT, would be an advantage but is not essential
