Full job description

We are delighted to be recruiting for a property Lettings administrator/ Office administrator for a well established, independent estate agency based in Cardiff. Interlet is a property letting and management company specialising in students and professional lets.

Duties will include:

Dealing with potential tenants including professionals and students.

- Manage and oversee an allocated portfolio of properties.

- Registering tenant’s details and requirements.

- Arranging viewings and matching tenants to suitable properties.

- Dealing with tenant enquiries on a daily basis.

- All general office work and administration.

- Organising office tasks, Communicate with Landlords / Tenants / Contractors regarding property maintenance works, required actions to be undertaken resolving accordingly.

- Communicating with utility companies and council at start and end of tenancy.

Marketing properties
Negotiation skills
Monitoring rental progress
Confidence to work productively in a team or individually
Willingness to take on the responsibility
Clear communications skills whether oral or written
Collect information about a property and arrange for photographs to be taken
Provide information for tenancy agreements/contracts to be drawn up
Following through the viewing, organising move-in files
Liaising with both clients and landlords
Managing end of tenancy and renewals with tenants and landlords
Maintaining all records and customer communication accurately and in line with data protection. Ensure all legal compliances are up to date.

Candidate requirements:

Great customer service skills, able to make decisions.
Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and IT skills.
Excellent organisation skills, enthusiastic and looking to improve with new ideas.
Property management experience is essential.

An immediate start available.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
