Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV), primarily focusing on flatbed deliveries. Your energetic approach will ensure timely, efficient, and professional transportation of goods to various destinations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills and dedication will make a real impact.

Duties

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and inspection reports
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with clients and team members

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with no major endorsements or restrictions
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo and securing loads on flatbeds
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight schedules under pressure
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed
