Moonfleet Manor Hotel is a luxury hotel nestled on the beautiful Jurassic coast. Boasting breathtaking views and offering unparalleled hospitality, Moonfleet Manor Hotel is renowned for its elegance, charm, and exceptional service. With a commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests, we are seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our dedicated team. The Role:

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant and making the service for our lovely guests, big and small, perfect! You will run shift and deputise for the Restaurant Manager in their absence, ensuring the food and beverage operation consistently exceeds our guest expectations by giving an outstanding, informal and personable family focused service.

We have 2 permanent roles available, at 40 & 18 hours per week (including weekends), with a pay rate of £13.28 per hour, plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.

What you’ll do:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to uphold service standards and exceed guest expectations.
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff as needed.
Manage reservations and guest enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards in the restaurant.
Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders.

What we need:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership abilities with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced family environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
