Videographer & Content Creator Intern – Market Harborough
Market Harborough Based | 3 Days Per Week
Are you a creative videographer who loves telling real stories and producing content that people actually want to watch?
Au Dental is looking for a Videographer & Content Creator Intern to join our marketing team, based from our Market Harborough Resource Hub three days per week.
This is a hands-on creative role for someone looking to develop their skills across videography, photography, editing and social-first content while working on real campaigns across a growing dental group.
We are looking for more than technical ability. You will bring creative ideas, strong visual instincts, attention to detail and a genuine desire to continually improve your work.
How the role works
You will be based from our Market Harborough office, working directly with Jack, our Marketing Manager, while regularly travelling to our dental practices across Manchester and Cheshire to capture content.
A typical three-week cycle will include:
Weeks 1 and 2 – Content Production
- Travelling to our Manchester and Cheshire practices for planned filming days
- Capturing patient, clinician and practice content
- Editing footage from recent shoots
- Planning upcoming content
- Developing new creative concepts
- Producing social-first video and campaign assets
Week 3 – Marketing & Creative Development
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager at our Market Harborough Resource Hub
- Reviewing edits and performance
- Developing new campaign and content ideas
- Planning upcoming shoots
- Working through feedback and revisions
- Supporting wider marketing projects across the group
Filming days will be planned in advance and grouped where possible to make travel efficient.
Reasonable business travel costs and hotel accommodation where required will be covered by Au Dental.
What you’ll create
You will help produce content across the Au Dental group, including:
- Authentic patient testimonials and treatment stories
- Dentist and team interviews
- Before-and-after treatment content
- Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Photography and video for advertising campaigns
- Website photography and video
- Practice and team content
- Recruitment and employer-brand content
- Original creative concepts that bring our practices, people and patient experiences to life
What you’ll be doing
- Planning shoots and contributing original content ideas
- Travelling to our Manchester and surrounding area dental practices for filming
- Setting up and capturing high-quality video, audio and photography
- Directing patients, clinicians and team members on camera
- Helping people feel relaxed and confident during filming
- Editing footage into polished, engaging and on-brand content
- Creating short-form content specifically designed for social media
- Adding captions, music, graphics and other finishing touches
- Working directly with the Marketing Manager on creative ideas and campaign development
- Reviewing content and responding positively to feedback
- Refining edits quickly and efficiently
- Keeping up with TikTok, Instagram and wider social media trends
- Planning future filming schedules and content requirements
- Organising and maintaining footage, equipment and project files
- Supporting wider Au Dental marketing campaigns
What we’re looking for
You do not need years of professional experience. We are looking for someone with strong creative potential who wants to develop quickly.
Ideally, you will have:
- Practical filming and editing experience through education, freelance work, employment or personal projects
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your creative ability
- Confidence using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software
- A strong eye for composition, lighting, sound and storytelling
- An understanding of what makes social-first content engaging
- An interest in TikTok, Instagram Reels and emerging content trends
- A friendly and professional manner when working with patients and clinical teams
- Initiative and the confidence to bring your own ideas to the team
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and continually improve
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car is required due to business travel.
Access to your own filming equipment would be beneficial but is not essential. Au Dental is happy to invest in appropriate equipment, software and training to support the successful candidate.
Previous dental experience is not required.
We are much more interested in your creative instincts, attitude, portfolio and potential.
Working pattern
3 days per week
The role will be primarily based from our Market Harborough Resource Hub, with regular planned filming days across our Manchester and Cheshire dental practices.
Your exact working days may vary depending on filming requirements and campaign activity.
Where overnight stays are required for business travel, hotel accommodation and reasonable travel expenses will be covered by Au Dental.
