Full job description

Aston Manor is the UK's second-largest cider producer and one of the country's leading beverage manufacturers. We're looking for a Process Operative to join our team in Tiverton and play a key role in producing the high-quality products that keep our business moving.

No direct cider manufacturing experience? No problem. If you're reliable, keen to learn, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What you'll be doing

As a Process Operative, you'll help manufacture our cider and beverage products, ensuring they are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and monitoring fermentation processes.
Operating filtration, carbonation and pasteurisation equipment.
Loading and unloading bulk tanker deliveries.
Transferring products between tanks and production areas.
Carrying out cleaning and sanitation activities.
Recording production information accurately using company systems.
Supporting daily production targets.
Maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and safety.

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who:

Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Works well as part of a team.
Has good communication and attention to detail.
Is comfortable using computers and digital systems.
Can adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Takes pride in working safely and following procedures.

Previous experience in manufacturing, food and drink production, warehousing or a similar environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The Role

This is a hands-on position involving a mix of indoor and outdoor work, with some physical duties including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods. Full training and PPE will be provided.

The role works a rotating 12-hour shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends, with overtime opportunities available during busy periods.
