This is an incredible opportunity for somebody to come on board. We are looking to add to our incredible team here at The Royal George. We are a busy restaurant within Appledore, (20 minutes outside of Barnstaple) looking over the water that serves freshly prepared food made from locally sourced produce

We’ve got some exciting plans for the future! In order to support our team, we are looking for a new Assistant Restaurant Manager of the Royal George.

We are passionate about our team with training, progression and mentorship available throughout. Our kitchen is at the heart of our operation and we take great pride in our team, their equipment and their ideas. As a busy 2 rosette restaurant, we set ourselves and maintain exceptionally high standards. We source our produce from the best suppliers in the region, with a real focus on consistency, quality and provenance. Daily deliveries from high welfare local farmers ensure the freshest ingredients possible.

The Candidate

Are you looking for your next promotion with a pathway to management?

We are looking for someone who has proven experience of working in a busy restaurant and has a deep passion for food and the energy to grow and develop an exciting, award winning business. We are looking for a robust, happy and 'can do' person who loves working in hospitality. You must have attention to detail, be capable of thinking on your feet, be people friendly and value good service.

We are looking for someone ambitious who can work with and enhance our existing team. Successful candidates who impress in the role will be considered for increased responsibility and management opportunities. The role involves working during the week, including evenings and weekends.
