Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for fabricating and assembling various wooden structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, carpentry, and the use of both hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.
Mixture of workshop and onsite installations
Perform painting and finishing tasks to ensure high-quality appearances on completed projects.
Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians and masons when required for integrated projects.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Assist in the design process
Sourcing of relevant materials

Requirements

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery work.
Knowledge of joinery techniques and best practices in woodworking.
Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good physical fitness as the role may involve lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
A valid driver's licence
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
