Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plasterboarding, In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall and plasterboard surfaces to create smooth, durable walls and ceilings, ensuring high-quality standards are met at every stage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and install plasterboard sheets accurately according to project specifications
Secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and fastening
Repair or replace damaged drywall sections promptly to maintain quality standards
Maintain a clean work area and disposing of debris regularly
Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in plasterboarding or drywall installation within construction settings
Strong knowledge of carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication is highly desirable
Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, knives, screw guns, and measuring tapes
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently for cutting and fastening drywall materials
Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to drywall installation
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision finishing
Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working at heights if necessary
