About the role

We're looking for a dynamic, dedicated and genuinely fun Physiotherapist, Sports Therapist , Sports Rehabber, Osteopath, Podiatrist or Sports Medicine Professional to join our multidisciplinary team at The Sports Therapy Clinic, Leeds. It's an exciting opportunity to provide expert assessment, treatment and rehabilitation across a diverse range of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, sports injuries and patient needs and to grow your own caseload of new clients and wellbeing patients as we do. We're after 3+ years' experience, ideally in a private clinical setting, and we'd love someone with a specialism, passion or interest in a particular population, injury type or area of practice.

About us

We're a multidisciplinary clinic working alongside other healthcare professionals to support patients who are in pain and injured. Our team of Sports Therapists, Physios, Sports Rehabbers and Personal Trainers offer support with pain relief for nerve, muscle and joint injuries, sports performance enhancement, rehabilitation, injury prevention, relaxation, time out and stress reduction, and more. We work to an evidence-based model and care deeply about patient results and their experience.

We also work hand-in-hand with our on-site gym, The Strength Training Company our "Rehab to Results" pathway means you can take a patient from acute injury all the way through to rebuilt strength and performance, without them ever leaving the building. This is a self-employed position with a structured training programme to support you in private clinical practice, patient management, hands-on technique and case management.

What you'll do

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with sports-related injuries, MSK pain or functional impairments.
Develop and deliver tailored treatment programmes using manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities and other evidence-based techniques.
Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team sports therapists, physios, sports rehabbers, personal trainers and to deliver holistic patient care.
Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimise recovery outcomes.
Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management and lifestyle changes to promote long-term health.
Maintain detailed, confidential clinical documentation to professional standards.
Support the wider team with expert consultation on complex musculoskeletal presentations.
To refer patients and clients in to our on site gym, to our personal trainers.
To be able to gain reviews and feedback from patients at discharge.

What you'll bring

Proven experience (3+ years, ideally private practice) with a focus on sports medicine or musculoskeletal health.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology relevant to MSK conditions.
Excellent patient-care skills, communicating clearly and empathetically across diverse patient populations.
The ability to perform detailed assessments and apply manual therapy techniques effectively.
The ability to deliver progressive rehabilitation programmes whilst providing accountability and check in's to patients.
Sound knowledge of current best practice across physiotherapy, sports therapy, podiatry or osteopathy.
A commitment to ongoing CPD and staying up to date with advances in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
A degree-level qualification and professional insurance (required).
Dedicated, hardworking, physically fit, confident, caring and someone who loves hands-on therapy, gym and fitness work and working in a team.
