Registered General Nurse (RGN) – Nursing Home

Location: Plymouth, Devon
Salary: £20.00–£21.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time
Shifts: Days or Nights Available
Employment Type: Permanent
Sponsorship: Not Available

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a well-established and reputable nursing home in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate nurse looking for a full-time position with the flexibility to work either day or night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
Assess, monitor and review residents' health and care needs.
Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records.
Work closely with residents, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with CQC standards and relevant legislation.
Support and guide care staff to maintain high standards of care.
Respond appropriately to changes in residents' health and escalate concerns when required.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care plans.

Requirements

Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN/RN Adult).
Previous nursing experience, preferably within a care or nursing home environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate, professional and resident-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Must have the existing right to work in the UK.
This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
