Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring all dishes meet our standards of excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests. The Pizza Chef will work closely with the kitchen team to deliver delicious, visually appealing pizzas while maintaining strict food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pizza station, adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve optimal results
Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pizzas served
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
Prior experience working as a pizza chef or in a similar culinary role is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Familiarity with meal preparation, kitchen equipment, and culinary techniques relevant to pizza making
Experience working in a fast-paced setting with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
