Job Overview

Monday - Friday (starts 6:45 am - 9:45 am)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces. Your proactive approach and dedication will ensure a safe, welcoming, and spotless environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized, efficient workspace while developing your skills in commercial cleaning and janitorial services.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance
Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to supervisors for swift resolution
Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistent standards of hygiene

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated shifts
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
