Full job description

Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional Uber Drivers to join our team on a rental basis. This role involves providing safe, efficient, and friendly transportation services to passengers across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused attitude. Whether you are an experienced driver or new to commercial driving, this position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic transportation network.

Duties

Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle at all times
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance or information as needed
Manage pick-up and drop-off points efficiently, ensuring smooth flow of rides
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
Assist with heavy lifting when required, such as loading or unloading luggage or packages
Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and expenses for administrative purposes

Skills

Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable
Proven ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
Good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to perform routine checks and minor repairs
Organised and responsible approach to managing schedules and vehicle upkeep
