Full job description

Overview

Join our manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and become a vital contributor to precision machining and fabrication processes. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your mechanical expertise and attention to detail will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop their skills in machining technology.

Duties

Operate CNC lathe to produce complex parts according to technical specifications.
Read and interpret CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings and Fusion models to set up machining operations accurately.
Programming experience with either Mazatrol or Fanuc.
Perform routine inspections of machined parts, utilizing hand tools and measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Maintain proper tooling, tool changes, and machine calibration for optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols diligently while handling power tools, hand tools, and machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery, familiarity with programming is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly.
Proficiency in reading Engineering drawings.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and tooling for setup and finishing tasks.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
