Millets Farm Centre is looking or someone to join their Butchery team!

Counter Assistant Required: Sundays 9am - 6pm.

Additional hours required during half terms.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting high-quality meats and food products from the butchery counter
Prepare and portion meat cuts according to customer requests or store standards, ensuring precision and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations
Provide expert advice on different cuts of meat, cooking tips, and product availability to enhance customer experience with the assistance of the butchery team
Restock display cases efficiently to ensure products are fresh, appealing, and well-presented
Follow all food safety protocols during handling, storage, and preparation to uphold hygiene standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during busy weekend shifts

Experience

Strong understanding of food preparation processes and attention to detail in handling perishable goods
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per day
