Are you an experienced project manager and/or widening participation practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact? Join the University of Oxford to make a difference within a globally renowned institution. You’ll focus on developing and supporting the expanding area of postgraduate access and widening participation, with particular responsibility for the delivery of the Graduate Student Access Strategy in the Social Sciences and Humanities divisions.

Salary: £39,424 - £47,779 per annum Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

About the Role

The post-holder will have a particular responsibility for Social Sciences (SSD) and Humanities (HUM) and will develop a detailed understanding and knowledge of graduate access and WP at subject level. They will work very closely with their divisional office and departments and/or faculties to help them to identify their local needs, shape strategies, embed graduate access and WP, and support the delivery of initiatives and strategic objectives.

About You

The post-holder will need to show great flexibility as this area of work is fast-changing. They will be a key player in driving and delivering change (both of processes and mindsets), and will therefore need to show strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent project management, problem-solving and analytical skills. This would be an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience of access, WP and diversity to drive forward real change for underrepresented and disadvantaged groups in graduate study.
