Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Assistant and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. This energetic position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere by ensuring all spaces are spotless, organized, and inviting. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help uphold our high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, hallways, and service spaces using appropriate commercial cleaning techniques and equipment
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for guest needs
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency and quality across all areas
Handle waste disposal responsibly and ensure all surfaces are sanitised according to health standards
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supplies usage
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with additional cleaning tasks as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service standards
Flexibility to work 4 over 7 days (9-2 weekdays and 10-3 weekends) including weekends, or holidays as required.
