Description

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Branch Manager to lead our retail team. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll take full ownership of the store’s performance, inspire your team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. If you’re passionate about rural retailing, people, and making a difference in the agricultural community, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Hours of Work: 42.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

As Branch Manager, you’ll be a visible and inspirational leader, responsible for driving commercial success and creating a welcoming, solution-focused environment for customers and colleagues. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage store operations, work closely with the Field Sales Team, and build strong relationships across the business and local community.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the store to deliver strong sales and margin performance
Championing high standards throughout the site
Recruiting, coaching, and developing team members
Managing stock integrity, store audits, and financial controls
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company policies
Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and the wider community
Ensure compliance with transport legislation, company policies, and health & safety standards
Deliver a safe, efficient, and customer-focused transport operations

About You

Proven experience in a leadership role within retail or a customer-facing environment
Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, stock control, and customer service
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Confidence in interpreting financial data and managing budgets
A strategic thinker who inspires and motivates others
A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding service
Flexible, adaptable, and proactive with a solution-focused approach
Resilient and confident in managing challenges
