Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Operative & Order Packager to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves supporting the efficient handling, packing, and dispatching of goods within a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring orders are accurately processed and delivered on time, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain. Flexibility to work part-time hours is essential, with opportunities for skill development in various warehouse functions.

Entry-level position.

No experience required.

Full training provided.

Ideal for school leavers, college leavers, apprentices or those seeking their first role in warehousing and logistics.

Duties

Handling materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading stock using appropriate equipment such as forklifts where qualified.
Picking and packing customer orders with precision to meet quality standards and minimise errors.
Managing stock levels through accurate stock replenishment and organisation within the warehouse.
Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and order status.
Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all outgoing and incoming goods are correctly documented.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Performing basic mechanical checks on equipment and reporting any faults or issues promptly.
Supporting stock rotation procedures to ensure product integrity is maintained.
