Full job description

Cemcor Limited is seeking a motivated and reliable Laboratory Process Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the production process through laboratory testing, quality control, and process monitoring.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Record, analyse, and report test results accurately.
Monitor production processes and provide feedback to operational teams.
Collect and prepare samples for testing.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Ensure all laboratory procedures are carried out in accordance with company standards.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Assist with quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the laboratory.
Comply with all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

Good standard of education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics and a Science subject.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality control systems.
Experience working within a process manufacturing industry.
