The Together Trust is one of the North West’s leading charities, offering individual care, support, and education to hundreds of Children, Young People, and Adults each year. We are a not-for-profit charitable trust, so every penny goes back into benefiting the people that we support.

We have a rewarding opportunity for a Specialist Community Support Worker to join our supported living service in Walkden, Salford. We aim to provide care and support and promote independence and inclusion for two adults with autism and learning disabilities within their own home and in the local community through methods including positive behaviour support.

There are 2 vacancies

A driver is preferred for this role. You must have a full clean licence which has been held for 12 months or more.

Please note there are 2 full time vacancies

Location – Walkden, Salford, Greater Manchester.

Working Pattern – 37.5 hours per week worked flexibly of the week (including weekends).

The shift patterns are :

Long shifts: 08:00–22:30 or 08:30–22:30
Early shifts: 08:00–15:30 or 08:30–15:30
Late shifts: 15:30–22:30

There is an expectation that colleagues will be able to work all shift variations to meet the needs of the service.

Salary – £26,230 per year (£13.45 per hour).

Enhancement - Time and a quarter for all weekend hours worked, (£16.82 per hour)

We are looking for a Specialist Community Support Worker with a positive and enthusiastic approach, who is friendly, a great communicator and eager to provide high levels of support.
