Full job description

Wharfedale Decorations Ltd, established in 1984, is a reputable and long-standing commercial painting and decorating contractor known for delivering high-quality workmanship across a wide range of projects throughout the region.

Due to continued growth, a strong pipeline of upcoming work, and increasing demand from both new and repeat clients, we are looking to expand our workforce. As such, we are currently seeking experienced painters and decorators to join our professional and dedicated team.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects, including offices, schools, retail units, and residential developments. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards, a positive team environment, and a commitment to ongoing development for our staff.

If you’re a reliable, skilled tradesperson looking to be part of a growing company with a strong reputation and steady workload, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in painting and decorating
Current Blue or above CSCS Card
Relevant experience for a minimum of 5 years
Full Driving license or be prepared to travel

Desirable Criteria

PASMA Certification
IPAF Certification
Experience of working on commercial painting contracts (schools, hospitals, hotels, social housing etc.)
Driving license or be prepared to travel

The successful candidate will have experience in aspects of painting and decorating.
