Production Operative

Location: Bleary, Co. Armagh
Company: Bawnbua Foods NI Ltd
Hours: Full Time | 8Am to 17Pm

About Bawnbua Foods NI

Bawnbua Foods NI is a leading Northern Ireland food manufacturer with over 40 years of experience supplying premium chilled and frozen meat products to many of the UK’s leading retailers, foodservice providers and food manufacturers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Production Operatives to join our team.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will play an important part in producing high-quality food products while ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality and hygiene are maintained.

Working as part of a friendly production team, you will help ensure customer orders are completed efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Working on a busy food production line.
Preparing, processing and packing products.
Operating production equipment safely and efficiently.
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Meeting daily production targets while maintaining quality.
Reporting any equipment faults or quality concerns to supervisors.
Supporting colleagues and working as part of a team.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good attendance and timekeeping.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good attention to detail.
Flexible approach to working hours and overtime when required.

Desirable

Previous experience in food production or manufacturing.
Knowledge of food hygiene or HACCP procedures.
Experience working in a chilled production environment.

Full training will be provided, so previous food manufacturing experience is not essential.

Working Environment
