Full job description

We are looking for a Bar Staff member who can take full control of day to day running of the bar.

** You must hold a Personal License to sell alcohol to be considered for this role. **

We run major live music events and the bar moves at pace, so you need to be confident working in a high energy environment.

The ideal candidate understands bar management inside out, knows how to set and hit targets, and brings a positive, team driven attitude. Strong product knowledge across beers, wines, and spirits is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out regular stock takes, place orders, and track stock levels
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure all health and safety regulations are met
Manage deliveries, beer lines, and cellar conditions
Stay up to date with licensing legislation and liaise with relevant authorities
Work within budgets, maximise profitability, and manage cash flow
Work with door/security staff and handle difficult customer situations
Minimise and investigate any cash or stock discrepancies

Main Tasks:

Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Meet, greet, and serve customers professionally and quickly
Change kegs, take deliveries, and restock the bar
Serve drinks, clear tables, and maintain a clean environment
Support preparation and delivery of large live music events
Work closely with the wider venue management team
Report any damage or equipment issues

Criteria:

2+ years bar or hospitality management experience (preferred)
Must hold a valid Personal Licence
Driving licence preferred

Job Details:

Full time, permanent position (35 to 40+ hours per week)
Pay: Competitive and based on experience, discussed at interview
