Night Care Worker (Flexi Contract)

Autumn House Residential Care Home

At Autumn House Residential Care Home, we believe outstanding care continues throughout the night. We’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Night Care Workers to join our friendly team on a flexible contract.

Your Role

As a Night Care Worker, you’ll ensure our residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing compassionate, person-centred care throughout the night.
Supporting residents with personal care where required.
Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks.
Responding promptly to call bells and emergency situations.
Monitoring residents’ health and reporting any concerns.
Maintaining accurate care records and completing shift handovers.
Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Working closely with colleagues to provide exceptional care.
Respecting each resident’s privacy, dignity, and individual choices at all times.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Kind, caring, and compassionate.
Reliable and professional.
Calm under pressure and able to work independently.
A great communicator with a positive attitude.
Passionate about delivering outstanding care.

Experience in care is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided to the right candidate.

Typical Night Shift

7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Shifts include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
