Are you curious about data, technology and solving complex problems?

We're looking for a Trainee Data Analyst to join our growing Data Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with large datasets, reporting tools and emerging technologies while developing valuable skills within a global financial services environment.

Whether you're a graduate, have completed a relevant internship, or are looking to begin a career in data analytics, we'll provide the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful projects from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee, you'll help ensure that high-quality data is available to support key business decisions and operational processes. You'll work with colleagues across technology and business teams to:

Analyse data from multiple systems and identify trends, issues and opportunities.
Create reports, dashboards and visualisations that support decision-making.
Maintain and update important business data.
Investigate and resolve data quality issues.
Support data cleansing, validation and process improvement activities.
Assist with data integration and automation initiatives.
Contribute to projects that use analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver practical solutions.

Profile required

What We're Looking For

Essential

A genuine interest in data, analytics and technology.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to organise and interpret information effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Python for data analysis.
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools.
Understanding of data quality and data management principles.

Desirable

A degree or qualification in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or a related discipline.
Experience gained through academic projects, internships, placements or personal learning.
Exposure to cloud technologies or machine learning concepts.
Basic understanding of databases, data analysis or SQL.
