Choux Box — Bath
Full-time and part-time roles available | Early Starts | No late nights

We are looking for experienced Baristas to join our team in Bath.

We specialise in choux buns, coffee and patisserie with personality. We’re looking for people who are confident making great coffee, enjoy working with customers and can help create a warm, friendly and high-quality experience across our Bath cafes.

Previous barista experience is essential for this role. You must be confident working with a commercial coffee machine and grinder, making espresso-based drinks to a high standard and keeping coffee consistent throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and drinks
Dialling in and maintaining coffee standards throughout the day
Steaming milk consistently for different drinks
Making espresso-based drinks confidently and efficiently
Keeping the coffee area clean, organised and well-stocked
Serving customers in a friendly and professional way
Taking orders and using the till
Supporting the front-of-house team during busy periods
Restocking cups, milk, retail items and café supplies
Helping maintain the overall cleanliness and presentation of the café
Following food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
Supporting with opening and closing tasks where needed

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced as a barista in a café or coffee shop environment
Confident making coffee to a high standard
Comfortable working with a commercial coffee machine and grinder
Clean, organised and tidy in their working style
Friendly, confident and welcoming with customers
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work well under pressure
Comfortable working as part of a small team
Passionate about great coffee, food and customer service
Self motivated and able to work on their own
