Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Pet Sitter and Dog Walker, where your love for animals and energetic spirit will make a real difference in pets’ lives! In this role, you’ll provide attentive care, exercise, and companionship to a variety of furry friends. This position offers flexible hours perfect for animal enthusiasts eager to turn their passion into a rewarding experience. You’ll be the trusted caregiver that pet owners rely on, ensuring their pets are happy, healthy, and well-loved while they’re away or busy.

Responsibilities

Take dogs on engaging walks, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation.
Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and offering companionship.
Observe pets’ behavior and health, reporting any concerns to pet owners promptly.
Maintain a clean and safe environment during visits by cleaning up after pets and ensuring secure handling.
Follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners to meet each pet’s unique needs.
Communicate regularly with pet owners about their pets’ well-being and any notable changes.
Assist with light household tasks related to pet care, such as refilling water bowls or administering basic medication.

Qualifications

Genuine love for animals with prior experience in animal care or veterinary settings preferred.
Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns.
Ability to handle multiple pets safely, including those requiring special attention or medication.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Prior experience with veterinary procedures or animal health is a plus but not required.
