About the role

We are looking for a creative, commercially minded Marketing Manager to join two growing businesses: Odyssey Plunge and ReturnWell.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, running campaigns and finding new ways to increase brand awareness and generate enquiries.

You'll work across both businesses, taking responsibility for day-to-day marketing activity while working closely with the founders.

We don't want someone who simply produces marketing plans. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting things done – creating content, launching campaigns, managing advertising, contacting publications, developing partnerships and continually looking for new opportunities to put both brands in front of the right audiences.

Odyssey Plunge

Odyssey Plunge is a rapidly growing premium cold plunge, sauna and wellness equipment company serving residential and commercial customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating engaging photo, video and written content for social media
Planning and managing the social media content calendar
Producing regular email marketing campaigns
Managing and optimising paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google
Developing landing pages, promotions and campaigns to generate leads and sales
Identifying relevant magazines, publications and online platforms for editorial coverage
Developing PR opportunities and submitting products/business stories to relevant publications
Building relationships with gyms, wellness businesses, athletes, influencers and other potential partners
Supporting new product launches and promotions
Helping develop marketing activity as Odyssey expands into new markets
Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on leads, sales and return on advertising spend
Continually looking for new opportunities to increase awareness of the Odyssey brand

ReturnWell

ReturnWell is a growing specialist service that provide SME's with independent clinical return to work assessments to get their employees working again, or remain in work.

You'll help build awareness and establish ReturnWell as a trusted name within its market through:

Creating informative and engaging social content
Managing paid advertising campaigns
Developing email marketing campaigns
Producing useful website and educational content
Identifying PR, magazine and editorial opportunities
Building relationships with relevant businesses and organisations
Developing partnerships and referral opportunities
Supporting campaigns designed to generate qualified enquiries
Monitoring marketing performance and helping identify which channels generate the strongest results

About you

We're looking for someone who is proactive, creative and comfortable taking ownership.

Ideally, you'll have experience in several of the following areas:

Social media content creation
Photography and short-form video
Meta Ads
Google Ads
Email marketing
Canva or similar creative software
Copywriting
PR and media outreach
Influencer or partnership marketing
Basic website/CMS management
Marketing analytics and reporting

You don't need to be an expert in every area. More important is that you're resourceful, commercially aware and willing to learn quickly.

You should be the sort of person who sees an opportunity and acts on it rather than waiting to be given a detailed task list.
