Job Overview:

Wicked Cookies is on the hunt for an energetic Event / Festival Pop-Up Sales Assistant who thrives on meeting new people, relishes the high energy environment of concerts, festivals, and outdoor markets, and loves high quality, artisan food.

With an above average hourly rate and bonus incentives, you can earn up to £500 to £1500 per event.

This role offers a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the music, vibe, sights and smells of some of the UKs largest events and festivals, whilst selling our delicious, freshly baked, award winning cookies. Don’t worry…we'll handle the baking and prep; you bring the fun!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a hard-working, positive attitude and is physically able to cope with the moderate demands of the event team role eg: lifting heavy boxes of cookies, setting-up and packing down the gazebos and stands.

You’re a people person with excellent customer service skills, who will be excited to maintain our 5 star review status. You’re self-motivated, confident and disciplined as you will be required to travel and work on your own most of the time.

Although full training will be provided, it would be an advantage if you already have prior food/restaurant experience and/or a level 2 food hygiene certificate.

You’ll also need to be happy to work outside in all weather (we do provide warm and cold weather uniform to keep you comfortable).

You must have your own reliable vehicle that is large enough to transport a complete Wicked Cookies event setup, including a commercial 3m × 3m gazebo (160 cm packed length), folding tables, display equipment and cookie stock and have a full UK drivers license.

As a guide, your vehicle should be the size of a Honda Jazz or larger. Estate cars, SUVs and small vans are all suitable. Very small city cars (such as a Fiat 500, Toyota Aygo, Kia Picanto, Fiesta or similar) will not have sufficient space.

Save the date: Successful candidates will be invited to attend group interviews on Wednesday 29th July (from 6.30pm)

Responsibilities:

Collect kit/cookies from our bakery in Nuneaton (CV10 7NG)
Travel to events locally and across the UK
Set-up the Wicked Cookies gazebo or stand
Maintain excellent customer service
Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices
Take cash/card payments using an app downloaded to your phone
Pack down kit and/or gazebo and return to the bakery at the end of the event

Requirements:

A reasonable sized car ( Honda Jazz kind of size or bigger), SUV, estate or small van
Full UK drivers license
A happy, enthusiastic and outgoing personality
Ability to work weekends and bank holidays
