The Bridge is a luxury 72 bedded care home, providing both residential and a unit for those living with Dementia. The home opened in February 24.

Night care assistant

8pm-8am

2 week rolling Rota, Wk1- 3 nights & Wk2- 4 nights, includes every other Weekend.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals within our care home, ensuring they receive the highest standard of personalised care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive and professional environment. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, be organised, and have a genuine desire to assist others.

Duties

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Develop and follow personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
Support clients with health monitoring as required
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Support clients in maintaining their independence and promoting wellbeing
Use IT systems to update records and manage schedules efficiently
Drive or accompany clients to appointments or social activities when needed

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Valid driving licence is preferred to support transportation needs
Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication
Strong IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for others
Organised and reliable with the ability to follow care plans accurately
