Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair styling services including braiding, weaving, twisting, and other creative styles tailored to client preferences.
Deliver professional barbering services such as fades, trims, and grooming to meet diverse client needs.
Provide personalized consultations to understand client desires and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Maintain a clean, organized work station adhering to health and safety standards.
Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
Engage with clients at the front desk by scheduling appointments, upselling products or services, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
Mentor junior staff and apprentices by sharing techniques, offering guidance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Skills

Proven expertise in hair styling, braiding techniques, barbering, and related beauty services.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
Experience managing a salon or store environment including front desk operations and appointment scheduling.
Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships.
Skilled in mentoring team members to elevate overall salon performance.
Knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application is a plus for offering comprehensive beauty solutions.
Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
