Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, meals, maintaining a bar and contributing to the overall guest experience. 18+ only.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Engage with guests to provide outstanding customer service, addressing their needs and preferences effectively.
Wait staff duties include serving meals and drinks to tables and having a good knowledge of the menu and food preparation
Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the bar and kitchen.
Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment.
Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their experience.
