Job Title: Children's Support Worker

Job Location: Woolston, Southampton

Hours: Full-time (39 Hours) working various shift patterns including long days and sleep ins.

Salary: from £14.45 per hour PLUS an additional £62.64 per sleep in £3k - £6k per annum for sleep ins.

We are looking for a resilient and nurturing Children's Support worker to join our family home. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.

The role can be emotionally challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.

What do you need?

Previous relevant experience or transferable skills such as adult care, LD, SEN education or supporting vulnerable people.
A real passion and desire to support children in a homely environment
A good level of English communication skills,
Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
Naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
Full UK drivers licence would be beneficial.
