Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess a friendly demeanour, and have a keen eye for detail. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall success of our venue.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system
Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
Provide friendly advice on drink selections and promote special offers or events
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holiday periods as needed
A positive attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service

What you’ll be doing:

Serving customers

Handling cash and card payments

Keeping the bar and work areas clean and tidy

Using the till system and card machines

Working in a busy, fast-paced environment while providing great customer service

What we’re looking for:

Aged 18+

Reliable with good time management

Friendly with excellent communication skills

Polite, hardworking, and a team player

High standards of personal hygiene and presentation

Available to work weekends (unless agreed otherwise before employment)
