Job Role: Resident Engagement Coordinator

Contract Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract ( Maternity Cover)
Salary: £30,000 per annum plus benefits

Main Purpose of Job
The Resident Engagement Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the delivery of high-quality resident engagement consultancy services across a portfolio of high-rise buildings.
This role involves the production of bespoke resident engagement strategies, undertaking compliance reviews of existing resident engagement approaches against Building Safety Act requirements and industry best practice, and supporting clients to deliver effective resident consultations during the process.
Working closely with clients, managing agents and housing associations, the Resident Engagement Coordinator will help coordinate consultation activities, analyse feedback and engagement outcomes, and produce clear, insightful assessment reports and recommendations. The role also includes supporting the delivery of client workshops to present findings, discuss opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of resident engagement practices. Through these activities, the Resident Engagement Coordinator will contribute to stronger resident participation, regulatory compliance, and positive stakeholder relationships.

This role reports to the Resident Engagement Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the production of consistently high-quality engagement strategies
- Develop and tailor each engagement strategy, based on resident and client feedback
- Conduct reviews and assessments of existing resident engagement strategies to evaluate compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
- Support clients in planning, coordinating and delivering resident consultation exercises across a range of residential developments.
- Liaise with clients, managing agents, residents and other stakeholders to ensure consultations are delivered effectively and in accordance with agreed objectives.
- Identify gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement within resident engagement frameworks and provide practical recommendations.
- Analyse resident feedback, consultation responses and engagement data to identify trends, themes and areas for improvement.
- Produce high-quality assessment reports, consultation findings reports and client-ready recommendations.
- Support the delivery of client workshops, presentations and stakeholder meetings to communicate findings and facilitate discussion on resident engagement improvements.
- Assist in developing engagement action plans and implementation recommendations arising from strategy reviews and consultation outcomes.
- Ensure all consultancy outputs are delivered to a high professional standard, within agreed timescales and in line with Innovus quality expectations.
- Maintain accurate records – ensuring accurate completion numbers in order to reflect proposed billing
- Contribute to accurate and thorough progress reporting, to include completed and in progress strategies
- Stay up to date with legislation changes in relation to building safety, and more specifically, resident engagement.
Technical Skills and experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative feedback and present findings clearly and concisely.
- Experience using Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong report-writing skills with experience producing client-facing documents and recommendations.
- Experience facilitating client meetings.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Understanding of leasehold management is desirable
- Understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and resident engagement requirements is desirable.
