Overview

4 day working weeks. 4 x 12 hour shifts starting from 10am. Open 7 days a week. Full team of working professionals.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on pizza making. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious, high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene while delivering outstanding meal experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new pizza varieties or enhancements

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and meal preparation
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices within a commercial kitchen environment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to work effectively as part of a team
Previous restaurant experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential for entry-level applicants
Passion for culinary arts and creating high-quality dishes that delight customers
